Let Us Know What You Think!
As I was perusing through different Margarita recipesThe Margaritaville Drink Recipes Sheet. Read more ... » that I could bring to you I came across this Bloody Margarita concoction. At first I thought okay here’s another blood orange Margarita but I was thoroughly wrong. This one is actually a combination of a Bloody Marry and a margarita. Not being a real big fan of a Bloody Mary my interest was piqued as to how this was going to actually come together.
This recipe comes from honeyandbirch.com and definitely does combine both of those drinks main ingredients together. Below is a list of the ingredients.
- 11.5 – 12 ounce can tomato juice.
- 1 cup orange juice.
- 4 oz. silver tequila.
- ¼ cup lime juice.
- 2 tsp hot sauce.
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
- 1 tsp black pepper.
- ½ tsp celery salt.
- ¼ tsp kosher salt.
Now I wish I could come to you and say that I have mixed this up and tried it, but since I’m not a very big on Bloody Marys as it is I’m already predisposed towards not liking it. So I’m going to rely on you here to mix it up and post a comment below to let us know what you think of it. Please remember though to be honest, but be kind. I’m really interested in finding out how the tomato juice and lime play together in this drink.
Also if you’re going to be mixing this up with a Margaritaville machine then I can definitely say you’re going to wind up with a smoother mixture that if you use a normal blender.
