Definitely Chocolaty Goodness.

Kahlua Caramel Shake

Well as I sit here typing out this drink recipe it’s almost mid-September and we are about to say goodbye to summer. I know some of you folks out there on the east coast are saying summer never got here. Regardless this drink will probably become one of your favorites when you’re looking a chocolate shake with a kick.

Drink Ingredients. (Makes two drinks)

  • 2 scoops of premium chocolate ice cream.
  • 2 ounces of Kahlua.
  • 1 ounce of whipped cream flavored vodka
  • 1 generous squirt of Hershey’s chocolate syrup.
  • 1 – 2 cups of ice if not using a Margaritaville Machine.
  • 1 can of whipped cream.
  • Chocolate sprinkles

Drink Mixing Instructions:

Grab your favorite glass in this case a hurricane glass of beer mug would work very well.

Next take your Margaritaville Margarita maker and add the vodkas, Kahlua, ice cream and chocolate syrup into the blending jar. Set the number of drinks on the control panel to 2 and if you have a Fiji, Bali or Tahiti model take an additional step and set the type of drink to smoothies

Next press the shave/blend toggle and let the machine do its thing. At the end of the blending cycle check the drink to make sure it is thick enough for you and if it isn’t shave a little more ice into the jar and blend. If it’s too thick add a little milk or half and half and blend.

Pour the drink into the glass and top with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.
